Red River Bayou
15 hand 2000 AQHA Sorrel Gelding
You can go into the cutting pen, win some money and then put your kid on him.
Look at that face!!! Isn't that the most honest, inviting face you've ever seen?
"Zack" is a Doc Tari grandson with a pedigree that knocks your socks off! No wonder he is quiet and honest. Good breeding with a great start in life leaves you with a horse that you would never regret owning.
This horse is a finished cutting horse and yet after you are done with the competition, you could let your child go for a ride and know that Zack would take care of him/ her. There aren't too many horses out there that, at this age, you could say that about.
Zack has seen his fair share of ranch work and has to earn his living doctoring, sorting, dragging calves to the fire, going out in the open pastures of Montana to gather those cattle and stay fit and quiet enough to bring them in and sort the pairs. Bogs, creeks, small river crossings, logs, you point him to it, ask him to go over or around it and he will do it without a arguement. He might not have the fancy buckskin color everyone is looking for, but he more than makes up for it with his honesty and kindness.
