Ponies are Gail's passion. The sight of a well trained pony, happy in their work, paired with a well educated rider brings joy to everyone who sees them. Gail has accomplished this time and again with children and adults as the lucky owners. Many adults have decided to "downsize" and are discovering that a smaller equine is the best of both worlds: attractive, a forward attitude and a good athlete wrapped in a body that's easy to maintain with a good honest mind. What fun it is to hit the trail on a surefooted, sensible pony with great bone and barefoot to boot!
Gail also breeds welsh ponies and welsh cobs. Section A, B, C and D are represented at Wilde-R-Farm. Known as the finest riding and driving animal in the world, welsh cobs range in size from 13 to 16 hands. So you see, there is a welsh for every member of the family!
Wilde-R-Farm ponies have a well known reputation of being solid all-rounders. They have gone on a grueling 25 mile trail competition on Saturday, gotten cleaned up a bit and taken home many ribbons the next day in the show ring. Many of them have been taught to drive.
The Wilde-R-Farm show team brings home many year end Championship Awards in every division from Short Stirrup to Equitation to Show Jumping on the Hunter Jumper Circuit. Gail's students also compete and win in Eventing and Dressage. But showing is not everything! A well trained horse or pony is a joy to own, no matter what your discipline.
