Ben Quinters

Ben Quinters has been starting colts and working with problem horses for 25 years. After leaving his native San Antonio, TX he moved to Heber, Utah where he lived for over 20 years. In January 2000 Ben moved to the Bitterroot Valley of Montana when his herd outgrew his place in Utah, now he resides in Texas. He has left a legacy of protege's and their students to carry on in with his teachings in Utah such as Clay Wright and Jim and Donnette Hicks.

He became an avid student of Ray Hunt and Tom Dorrance in the 1980's. He credits them for enlightening him on a better way to work with horses. He is available for training, clinics and private lessons. Ben feels that it is important to horses in training to train the owners. Lessons are encouraged and provided free of charge while your horse is in training.

Ben is also an accomplished cowboy poet, actor (SAG).
