Hi Debbie, first I want to thank you for the gifts you left for me. That was really nice and I love them. Gus did just great. He was a little reluctant to get in the ramp but didn't take long. What a great horse, I couldn't be happier. He is going to love it here and Angel loves having company. I talked with Denise about Milo but she wanted Gus. NO WAY!! I will catch up with you later and again thanks for everything. Had a great time and I love my horse Gus.

Debbie,
I recently purchased a horse, Pippenev aka Sahara, from a woman who purchased him from your farm. The horse is wonderful!!! We have been looking for a horse that was well trained and responsive for my eight year old daughter to ride. He is great! I recently had a relative in from Florida who trains horses and she was very impressed with Sahara's training. She also ooked at the sales video and said that he is everything that your video portrayed him to be and more. I am so pleased. He is my daughter's dream come true.
When I purchased him I was told that the girl in the video was very attached to him. I recently ran a search on the internet and found that she still has a picture of him on her web shots album. Please let her know that he is redden daily by my eight year old daughter, Lindsay, and loved by her, my three year old son, Stone and myself. Please forward the attached picutre to her so she can see that he is doing well. Should she want to contact me regarding Sahara please give her my email address.
Please let the trainers know that they did a wonderful job!!!! He is awesome!!!
Thanks,
Debbie

Hi Bonnie and Debbie
My sons horse went lame at a show this weekend so look who stepped in and took her place!! He took third in this class. Not bad for a horse that may or may not have ever jumped??
Cola is doing great. He is actually more of a dog than a horse, the way he follows you around looking for attention and treats. We have not ridden him as much as we have been riding Monty but if Ryan's horse stays lame he will be riding Monty more and I will be on Cola. The other day I put a 6 year old little girl on Cola and he just moseyed around the arena. For buying two horses sight unseen after typing "Buckskin Horse" on the internet I don't think it could have worked out much better. All of the horses have a show in July and then the big State Fair in August, I will send you more photos then.
Marja, Anchorage, AK
Update: Fri, June 29, 2007 11:03am
We have really enjoyed both of our boys. They have acclimated fine to our winters and have proven themselves in the show ring, on trail rides and packing into the mountains. They were a great find for just typing Buckskin horses onto the internet one day!

Dear Bonnie:
I am so sorry this reply is so late. We have had problems with our email and have just now "fixed" it. Bunny (scooter) is fabulous. She did arrive safely and even better than you described. She is a true joy and I will need much training to reach her level of ability. Thanks again for all your effort in making this transaction possible. I would love to have 10 more just like her.

Hi Debbie,
Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how happy I am with my sweetie horse. He just couldn't be any sweeter! It seems like I have had him for years. Jerry and I just love him so much. We go up to the stables late at night and just sit with him. He is just so spoiled. Jerry always has apples and carrots hidden in his jacket pockets and Santiago just can't wait to play the find the goodies game.
Please tell Charlene how happy we are and that we thank her so much for sending us the baby pictures of Santiago. When I opened the envelope I almost started to cry, it was such a pleasant surprise.
I just can't say enough about our new little baby boy. Charlene won't ever have to worry if he went to a good home. I will send some pictures soon, we just have so much going on now. I just wanted to let you know how happy we are,
Thank you so much for sending us a great horse that we love so much!
Sincerely,

Debbie & Bonnie,
I spoke to Kevin tonight on the telephone. I told him how happy I am with Buddy. I cant believe my good fortune- I rode him 12 miles yesterday at a state park. My daughter rode her little Buckskin roping pony. Buddy was a PERFECT gentleman. He is so willing to try and has a wonderful mind. I just love him and feel like I have found that perfect horse for me. I am so grateful that this worked. I will be happy to recommend your service to anyone. Buddy wants to Thank you too!
Now we are looking for a 4 horse trailer with LQ so we can do some weekend camping trips with the whole family! Thank you for all your help. I will put you on our X-mas card list and quit bugging you with e mails!
A very happy Vicki in Illinois

It has been several years since we purchased "Buddy". I am happy to tell you after several years he continues to be the best horse I have ever owned. You really seem to have a great eye for good horses and I must say he is everything you said he was and now after several years Buddy and I have a bond that is a once in a lifetme connection.
Thank you for a great horse!

SM Smokin Star
|
|
|
|
|
Hi Everyone,
As we finally get into some winter weather I finally have a breather to update you on our purchase of SM Smokin Star (5year Buckskin mare) (Now Known As Breyer)
She Is coming along fabulous!!! She has been in training since purchasing her in the beginning of summer, and has really settled in nicely. She has won our trust and my daughter who is six, will be showing her for the first time this spring at the Quarter Horse shows.
We had recently gone on a trail riding event in our area and got lost for over two hours, Breyer was super, she led our pack, up and down some steep hills and through water when all the horses were backing off, and resisting..she led the way and they all followed, finally finding our way.
So I Just wanted to let you know how pleased we are. We finally purchased our farm here in New Jersey and look forward to building our barn to bring Breyer and all of our horses home.
Take Care, Kim Wall, New Jersey

Hi Debbie,
Just thought I'd drop you a note about Bert. We've done a lot of riding on him. He is doing just beautifully. My husband calls him "Golden Boy" since he is just a little gentleman. Jamee is always out there messing with him and he just eats it up.
Sincerely,

Subject: BERT UPDATE
Hi Debbie,
I thought I'd give you a quick update on Bert. We still have him and LOVE him. Jamee (our 11 y.o. daughter) is using him for her 4H project this year. We finally had to retire her old mare. They took 2nd place in showmanship out of about 13 kids. I was so proud of them. they took 1st in the English Eq class. It was just a walk/trot class. She's been riding him on the trails for two years now, but is still getting her confidence up riding with other kids in the arena at faster speeds.
He's such a neat horse, when we have friends ride with us, he's always the horse that we pick for our company to ride.
P.S. Bert did grow up.....He's just a hair under 15 hands now

Dear Bonnie and Debbie:
We wanted to send you letter to let you know how pleased we are with the purchase of 5 horses from you. The horses were exactly as you advertised.
As you know, we purchased a mare, a colt, and 3 geldings from you and were so excited when they arrived. Each horse was as sweet as advertised and as pretty as the pictures you had on the internet. After talking to both of you prior to our purchases we were not concerned nor were we scared about buying our "babies" over the internet. We were so impressed with your business attitude and your honesty that we purchased another horse shortly after the arrival of the five listed above.
The horses love their new home and we love having them. The "boys" are the gentlemen you said they were and our little mare is a doll.
Thank you for making our purchases over the internet a pleasant experience.
We can't wait to see our newest addition.
Sincerely,
Gary and Debbie Durrance

Hustlers On The Fritz

Fritz is doing so incredibly well; we are totally pleased with him. He's been ridden on the trails and crossing rivers. He's being used in lessons both English and Western. He is excelling on the English side of it especially. The kids just love him too!
We're going to be looking for 2 -3 well broke trail/kids horses next spring for our clients. The Rowlands love their paint - they renamed him Ranger. I did a month tune-up on Delta this spring and he's still awesome. Ferrari lives 2 blocks away and they are one of those that will be looking for another horse like him in the spring. They are just totally sold on Ferrari. So we have nothing but happy endings going on around here.

Debbie-
Hope all is well in beautiful Montana. It is cold here already--26 degrees this morning. I have on my fleece-lined breeches! Philip and I want to thank-you for not only two great horses, but a great get-away from our house fire mess in Wisconsin. Danny and Brick are settled in and happy--I took Danny on a trail ride four days after he arrived and he was the perfect gentleman. They have become the pets of the barn and my trainer's two children ride them on trail rides also. I have started Brick on beginning level dressage and he is so willing and wants to please--a joy to ride! I would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone who needs a good western horse and will definately call you two if I ever need any more horses of this type. Hope to see you again in the future.

Hi Debbie,
So sorry it has taken me this long to be back in touch. Wanted to let you know how ecstatic I am about my purchase of Wiseguy. He is the most awesome horse and I've lerned ton's from him!! I keep telling my friends, he is way better trained than I am. But, I'll learn. He is a sweet boy and is so willing to try all that I ask of him. I took him up in the mountains this past weekend and we got off the trail a bit. Ok, off the trail a lot! I was riding with 5 other well seasoned mountain/trail horses and he was the youngster. We were stuck in some mighty thick brush, some rocks and a bit of a hill to boot. He came through it like a champ and not once did he spook or get very flustered. He just kept on going and made me so proud. Everyone on the ride couldn't believe he just turned 5. Just goes to show that you offer some of the best horses to folks like me and he is everything you said he was and more. That means a lot to me and when I'm in the market for another horse with this caliber, I'll call you first! Thanks again.

Update---From Shannon dated July 20, 2007
I just love Wise Guy. He is the best horse I've ever owned. He worked 9 hour day with me on cows the 5th of July ( 2 shorter days after), starting at 4 am and into the 100 degree heat of noon and 1 pm. He went through bogs, a lake, scrub, sage, ran fst when I asked him and sneaked up when I told him to. He and I spent the better part of 5 hours that day all by ourselves (behind our 100 pairs) and was a champ. He even put up with my singing, which is no easy feat. I love him. If I never show (never say never) I still know I have a wonderful partner that trusts me and I totally trust him.
Run up if you get a chance to say Hi.
Take care,
Shannon

Hi Debbie - You don't know me but I am the very proud owner of Pistols Doc Olena (Sugar) who I bought from Marion in the UK. I see that sandy from Eagle, ID is the owner of the dam and would just like to say that Sugar is everything and more than I could have hoped for. She really is the sweetest little mare and hugely talented. At her first show she won Novice Horse Pleasure but of course she has incredible talent for reining and also does a good trail course at home.
Just wanted to say hi and let Sandy know that I have her mare's daughter in Devon, UK.
Best Wishes,

Debbie,
I've recovered nicely from my surgery and have been back riding again for close to one month now. What a pleasure "Breeze" is!!!! I can't thank you enough for spending so much time over the phone with me and for listening to my needs. All your efforts have paid off and made me one happy horsewoman. I was nervous about returning to riding again after my surgery, but this horse is as well-broke and gentle as you said he was. My first hour on the trail and I was in love with him. Since August 1st I've spent over 30 hours on the trail with him and have yet to find anything he can't or won't do. This horse will go anywhere I point him and is utterly unflappable. This is as close to bomb-proof as they get!
Thank you again Debbie for everything. If we find ourselves in the market for another horse, you'll be the first one we contact.

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I purchased Sonnys Breeze through you about 2 years ago. Just wanted to give you an update. "Cody" as I call him, and I just returned from a 5 week long trip from our home in upstate NY to Wyoming. During our 5 weeks on the road riding in some rugged and ever-changing conditions, Cody easily handled it all. Not only is he the awesome trail horse that you sold to me, but he can be roped off, team pens, and was very easily trained for mounted shooting. By the way, in our first year of mounted shooting competition, we took 3rd at the NorthEast Regional Championships for the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association. I can't say enough about this horse. Thank you again for matching us up so perfectly. He has been everyting you said and more.
A Very Happy Rider,
Elaine |
