"Snappy" has hundreds of miles on him riding and living with his cowboy companion in the back country of Idaho taking care of cattle. Now, a days work in the back country is a very long day, and you have to have a horse that is willing to ride all day and night if possible. Checking cattle out on the association requires that you make sure they don't need doctoring and if they do, then your horse needs to be ready to go to work roping a cow, calf, steer or possibly a bull. Good conformation and minds are required to be a working horse and that is what this gelding is bred for. You aren't going to see any fancy arena horses on his pedigree, you are going to see horses that have been worked for a living and earned their right to breed after they prove themselves worthy. Most of the horses on his pedigree are known working cattle horses on small ranch operations here in Montana and Idaho.
