Skidwood Senorita
2002 14.3 hand Buckskin Mare
Beautiful buckskin mare for a serious competitor.

"Senorita" is that special buckskin color with no white markings that is most popular. She has professional training and also has been used out in the mountains. She is very intelligent, kind and athletic. Senorita is excellent with loading in a trailer, shoeing, catching, tying, leading clipping and bathing. Senorita has been used in hunting camp last year carrying novice riders and got along just fine with them. She has potential in team penning, sorting, working cow, barrels or just trail riding. Her two brothers are shown below along with a testominal from the new owner of Skootin Senor. This mare is easy to train and pleasant to be around. She has no blemishes and has recently had a pre-purchase exam by the owner for soundness and passed with no probems. Her full brother, Skootin Senor sold quickly and as the testimonial shows, the new owner is very pleased.

Thanks for getting back to me about that.
Also, I have to tell you about this little guy. I have never been so happy with a purchase. This is the cutest, smartest little horse I have owned in quite a while. He has all the qualities I wish I could find in a man - smart, goodlooking, funny, playful, willing, doesn't argue! Ha! I absolutely have fallen in love with this horse and have rode him everday since the day he arrived. I didn't even give him a chance to settle in before I got on him and he was perfectly fine. I even bumped him up into a "big boy" medium port reining bit and he took it like he had been using one for a year. And....which is really shocking....I jumped on him bareback on day with only a halter. He was a little confused by it a first, but he did wonderfully. Just an all around wonderful horse. Please tell Ron that if he ever has another one like Skooter (you said something once about him breeding these bloodlines), that I will definitely be interested in him.
Another funny thing is that the barn I have him in is 95% hunter/jumper. All of these people have fallen in love with Skooter, and a few are even thinking about buying QH themselves! Most of them have never seen a buckskin in the flesh and just think he is to die for.
I have worked with him a little with preliminary maneuvers like stopping with his hind end, and the turn around and roll back - he is meant for working cow. He is going to do great!
I adore him. Thank you so much again. I can't even tell you how happy I am!
