Phil and Deb Page have over 60 years combined experience in training The Versatile Horse for ranch work, roping, working cow horse events, packing, etc...... Bitterroot Equine Marketing Services is proud to represent their horses. They not only market their horses on our site, but also have the Rocky Mountain Guide School and also Women's West School for the ladies. We encourage you to check out what they have to offer in these schools.
Phil and Deb are commited to provide a well adjusted horse starting at a very young age as the photo to the right shows. They also purchase horses and put their unique touch on them to make them the best horse they can be.
Some of their training sessions with their horses include packing, sacking out with a tarp, jumping barrels bareback and with a saddle, working cattle and buffalo, going up in the mountains to cross water, bridges, high line, hobble, etc.... As you can see, if you purchased a horse that comes from their program, you would be purchasing a horse that gets much more training then most horses.

Hi Deb and Debbie,
Thought I owed the two of you some pictures. This is Scooter working on our spring round-up on our ranch. In 4 days we worked over 900 head and shipped our fall calves. As usual I think we had one nice day and the others windy and rainy. Scooter is a phenomenal horse, much better than me. He never hesitated once to take me where I needed to go. He's taught me a lot and I still have a long way to go.
Hope I get a chance to see you this summer. Give Phil my best.

Subject: Captain Call

Good morning Debbie,

Call is doing really well and adjusting to his new life here in Banff. I am so pleased with him and could sell a few of him to folks around here. He is steady, brave, confident and a great walker. We are getting to be such good buddies. He has more Arab than Quarter horse in him...He really is a gem. Thanks for getting us together. He is learning to get soft and bend, we do some arena work to ensure that he knows his yeilding and then we go out on the trail. We will be discovering a new place today thta involves going over the train tracks, timed so that we do not encouter one, then under the highway via a big tunnel... He will be fine I am sure. He likes to take the lead when asked and makes the others look like beginners. I love how brave he is. Thanks again....
