"Nipper" is not a horse for a beginner. He has excellent manners, but is still to young for a novice rider. Nipper was started as a three year old where he worked a mechanical cow and also live cows. He has been packed and used in a guide school as a instructional horse with the trainer on board. He was ridden in the mountains crossing streams, and rivers, across logs and up steep hills as well as down them too. He has been used to sort cow/calf pairs and moving cattle. He has had a rope swung around him from the ground, but hasn't been introduced to a rope under saddle yet. With Doc's Jack Frost, Doc's Zimfandel, Doc Bar several times on his papers, he is sure to excel in the reining, cutting, working cow horse, reined cow horse or barrel work. He will continue with the trainer until sold.
