15 hand 2003 Bay Roan Gelding
I don't normally sell my personal horses, but I have new horses to move on to and now offer Gus for sale. I have been on lots of trail rides in the mountains, over and through streams and rivers with this gelding and there isn't anywhere he won't go.
I do not recommend him to a novice person because of his age, but he is a very well behaved horse that loves attention. Gus has been worked on cattle and shows lots of promise as a working cow horse, team penning or sorting horse. His lope is as smooth as glass and he willingly picks it up without any fuss and is very soft in the mouth.
Gus is easy to shoe, tie, load in a trailer and to haul him, he is quiet.
This horse gets along with the rest of my mares and geldings and doesn't bother any other horse, or llama. I have ridden him around traffic and he is not spooky under saddle. He will fill out a little more in his body, as he is only three years old.
