This is a very lovely mare that has had plenty of miles in the mountains and also has lead a pack string of mules. She is not "mareish" and gets along with other mares and geldings. She has a beautiful filly at her side by Lena Lil Bit Closer who is by the famous stallion, Grays Starlight. So if you are thinking about getting in the cutting pen, then this filly has the breeding to get serious. Don't look pass her just because she is a solid sorrel, she will "knock your socks off" just watching her move.
The mare is just as gentle as a horse can get, with a very soft, smooth lope and trot. She doesn't have to be longed before you get on her no matter how long it has been since the last time she was ridden. As a matter of fact, when I took these photos of her under saddle, it had been over four months since she had been ridden and you couldn't tell. She just went in there and did her job with her ears forward. You can travel anywhere you want either in the mountains or down a busy street and she is even tempered every time. This is a great two in one package.
