"April" has been used through the 4-H program from start to finish with the young lady riding her on this page. She is a very kind, patient mare that also has been ridden out on the ranch. She knows her lead changes and can be loped quietly both in a arena and out in a large pasture. If you are looking for a good youth horse for 4-H or just a mare with a lot of experience on trails, then April would fit perfect for you. As you can see in the photo below, you can open gates on her and she has had exposure to cattle, even gathering them up.
