Skootin Senor
2001 14.2 hand Buckskin Gelding
Beautiful buckskin gelding for a serious competitor.
I know he is gorgeous, but he is not for a novice rider. "Skooter" has been started right by a professional trainer on mechanical cows and real cows, but the trainer said that he is very responsive to pressure and a novice rider would get in trouble with his sensitivity. He has excellent ground manners in trailering, shoeing, catching, tying, leading, saddling, clipping, bathing. He has been used in a guide school with the trainer riding him and going up in the mountains crossing water, rivers, logs..... He has been also used to gather cows, sort in a pen, and spent a lot of time standing around tied up to a hitching post. With a outstanding pedigree that includes Doc's Jack Frost, Doc's Zimfandel, Doc Bar, Driftwood, he will excel in working cow horse competition, barrels, heel horse or as a serious trail competitor. He has a excellent handle on him, but need a intermediate to advance rider. Skooter will continue to be ridden by the trainer until sold.
$5,500 Sold Congratulations Erin in South Boston, MA.
