				The Dooling Ranch is located in the Big Hole Valley in Montana. They raise horses and cattle and they believe in starting their young horses quietly, with a job to do. The winters can be harsh in the Big Hole and life can be rough. The horses are not pampered, but are very well taken care of. They know that they have a job to do know matter what the weather is that day, and they don't argue about it. Jess Kirkpatrick is one of the trainers that we are very proud to represent. At a very young age, Jess felt it was necessary to advance his horsemanship so he worked with Monty Roberts for a number of years and then worked with Polo horses in California. Jess now trains the horses at the family ranch full time and continues his education with numerous trainers, taking clinics, and riding with some of the best. He is sure he will never know it all, but enjoys advancing his education. Jess has a quiet, calm demeaner about himself and his horses are the same way. This is the kind of trainer that you would want your horse to come from.
